Magic of Christmas

Magic of Christmas is a much-loved local tradition for members of the Georges River area with the event having something for everyone to enjoy! Friends and families enjoy a festive evening in Carss Bush Park, which, against a magical backdrop, features a range of stalls and special performances.

This year's Magic of Christmas event will be held on Sunday 1 December 2019 at Carss Bush Park from 3:00pm - 9:00pm (performances starting from 3:30pm).

Beloved Play School and Playhouse Disney presenter Colin Buchanan will be back again  performing his famous ‘Aussie Christmas Carols’! We'll also be visited by some of our friends from PAW Patrol and Sesame Street along with an incredible line up of festive Christmas performances finishing with a spectacular fireworks display over the water!

Free Santa photos will be back again this year from 3:00pm - 8:00pm, so make sure you get there early to book in as spots are limited!

Parking is available on Carss Park Flats oval accessible via Carlton Crescent, Carss Park. Just following the directions of our wonderful SES volunteers. For public transport, catch a train to Allawah Station and then jump on either bus 970 or 971 to get you a short walk distance to Carss Bush Park. Otherwise it's just a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute bike ride from Allawah Train Station to Carss Bush Park. For more information on our cycling and walking tracks view our map.
