The event featured kids entertainment, special performances and plenty of food. 
 
 

Event Details

When: Saturday 6 December 2025, 4.30pm - 9.00pm.
Where: Carss Bush Park, Carwar Ave, Carss Park.
Entry: Free.
What to bring: Picnic rug and chairs. Please note this is an alcohol-free event.
Further information: Parking available at Carss Park Flats. We encourage attendees to walk, cycle or catch public transport where possible. 

 

Entertainment Program

See below the amazing entertainment line up we had at our event last December. 

MC - Jayden Rodrigues

Our host for the night will be the one and only…Jayden Rodrigues.

Jayden is an Australian dancer, choreographer, and digital content creator known for his high-energy dance videos and engaging online presence.

Rising to fame through The X Factor Australia and later as a member of the group NeWest, he has built a massive following on YouTube with over a million subscribers and viral dance covers that have garnered millions of views.

4.35pm - Georges Estate Choir

Georges Estate Logo Health and aged care communityProud event sponsor Georges Estate Health & Aged Care Community is bringing along their wonderful resident choir.

They will perform a selection of Christmas favourites, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the festive harmonies, or feel free to sing along with the carols!

4.50pm - St George Brass Band

Bringing festive cheer to the community, the St George Brass Band performs across the local area each December, sharing the joy of Christmas through the sound of live brass music.
Small ensembles from the band visit town centres, parks, and community organisations to perform classic carols and holiday favourites.

This year, the band has an impressive schedule of 25 performances, including special appearances at the Benevolent Society’s Greenwood Cottage caring centre and a festive lunch at the Bayside Men’s Shed, spreading warmth and connection through music.

The full band rehearses every Wednesday evening at the Bexley School of Arts, where musicians of all ages and backgrounds come together to celebrate their shared passion for music and community.

5.05pm - Smurfs

Papa Smurf and Smurfette in front of a mushroom houseBundle up and get ready to celebrate the festive season with our adorable little blue friends…The Smurfs!

It’s Christmas time and Smurfette is ready to light up the stage with her Rock’n Roll Christmas Party Hop.
But will Papa Smurf be able to get over his stage fright in time to celebrate?

Get ready to sing and dance along your favourite characters!

5.30pm - Jayden Rodrigues Dance Party

Join Jayden Rodrigues Dance Party!

An electrifying kids’ disco extravaganza hosted by Australia’s beloved ‘Just Dance’ ambassador, packed with pulsating beats and interactive dance games.

6.00pm - Georges River Voices

Georges River Voices Choir singing on stageEnjoy a heartwarming sing-along of festive music as Georges River Voices presents their Magic of Christmas performance.
Let the joy of carols and the spirit of the season lift you!
 
If you love what you hear, why not consider joining the choir? Georges River Voices currently is looking for tenors and bases to join them.

They sing a diverse repertoire - from contemporary and jazz to classical and world music.
It’s a wonderful way to connect with your community and share the joy of singing.

6.35pm - Gabby's Dollhouse

Gabby's Dollhouse with the arms up in the air and the tagline: the Party Starts MeowIt’s Purr-fect day for a dance party!

When Gabby and her friends unbox a miniature mirror ball and mysterious dance-along clue cards, a sing-along, dance-along play date begins.

This immersive event relies on audience participation and teamwork to help Gabby and her friends piece together the clues and reveal the song & dance DJ Catnip wants them to learn.

6.55pm - Jayden Rodrigues Dance Party

An electrifying kids’ disco extravaganza hosted by Australia’s beloved ‘Just Dance’ ambassador, packed with pulsating beats and interactive dance games.

7.20pm - Tchocolatl

a mime posing for the camera with the harbour bridge at the backTraveller Clown is passionate about traveling and venturing around the world, and this time she has a special mission: How will she get her Tchocolatl on time?

This show invites you to pack your suitcase and embark on a whirlwind journey around the globe in search of the origins of chocolate.

Featuring mime, rope skipping/jumping, clown slapstick, scarf juggling, dance, juggling and magic, it is an interactive, familiar, educative and funny show for young and old.

8.00pm - Conrad Sewell

Join us to experience an unforgettable performance with ARIA Award-winning artist Conrad Sewell as he takes the stage for a soul-stirring performance filled with heartfelt emotion and festive cheer.

Known for his powerful vocals and raw storytelling, Conrad will captivate audiences with a specially curated set that blends beloved Christmas classics with his signature soulful hits.

Whether you're a longtime fan or discovering his music for the first time, this intimate and uplifting show promises to be a magical celebration of the season, wrapped in warmth, nostalgia, and world-class talent.

9.00pm - Fireworks

Fireworks display at night with a large crowd gathered underneathThe night will conclude with some spectacular fireworks!

Santa, Jayden Rodrigues and our Mayor will lead the countdown to the start of the fireworks.

The sky will light up to celebrate the beginning of the Christmas festivities and the end to another wonderful evening.

The giant bubble fairy, SantaGabby’s Dollhouse and The Smurfs spread Christmas cheer throughout the event!
