Have Your Say on Customer Experience Strategy and Social Justice Charter

10/06/2026

Georges River Council is inviting the community to help shape the development of a new Customer Experience Strategy and Social Justice Charter.

This consultation gives residents, businesses and community groups an opportunity to share their experiences. Your feedback will directly inform the development of the new Strategy and Charter. This will help influence how Council delivers services and supports the community into the future.

The Customer Experience Strategy will outline Council’s approach to improving how people access and use services across all areas of Council.

This includes:

  • Making services simpler to access.

  • Ensuring customer needs are resolved efficiently.

  • Creating inclusive experiences for everyone in the community.

The Social Justice Charter reflects Council’s commitment to participation, equity, respect and empowerment. It provides a framework to ensure Council services, programs and decision-making respond to the diverse needs of the people of Georges River.

Together, these documents guide Council to:

  • Improve service delivery across all areas.

  • Make it easier to access services and support.

  • Ensure positive experiences at every interaction with Council.

Georges River Council Mayor Elise Borg said, “Council values the role our community plays in shaping the services and programs we deliver.

“By sharing your experiences, you can help us design these important documents and improve the way we support our community.

“I encourage everyone to take part in this consultation.”

Feedback is open until 30 June 2026.
