Eurovision 2026: Alpine Vienna Vibes at Georges River!

22/04/2026

Guten Tag Vienna... this is Georges River calling!

Georges River Council is excited to bring back its much-loved Eurovision Live Broadcast Party. Returning for the seventh year on Sunday 17 May 2026 at the Marana Auditorium in Hurstville.

Recognised as Australia’s largest live broadcast celebration of the Eurovision Song Contest, this free event brings hundreds of fans together. United by music and performance, Eurovision is celebrating its 70th edition of the contest live from Vienna, Austria.

Get ready for big voices, bold costumes and breathtaking performances as the Marana Auditorium transforms into an Austrian Alpine Adventure. Adding to the excitement, Delta Goodrem will represent Australia with her new single Eclipse.

Enjoy the live Eurovision Grand Final on the big screen and soak up a festive Austrian‑inspired atmosphere. Free coffee and pretzels will be provided to help kick start the early morning, with additional food and drinks available to purchase, or you’re welcome to bring your own. Drinks will be available to purchase at the EuroBar.

Get into the spirit with prizes for the best dressed! Expect flags, sing‑alongs and dancing plus fun photo activations and backdrops to capture your moment of fame. Play along with our Eurovision Bingo game, score each act with your own scorecard, and audience voting to help crown the Georges River fan‑favourite winner.

Mayor Elise Borg said whether you’re a massive long-time fan or brand new to Eurovision, our event is perfect for all ages.

“Eurovision is pure joy, it brings people together in a way that’s colourful, creative and fun,” Mayor Borg said.

“Our Live Broadcast Party is a celebration of music, diversity and inclusion, and it reflects our community beautifully. We’re proud to host an event where everyone can feel welcome and part of something special.”
