Georges River Council will carry out weed control at sportsfields, parks and reserves throughout the local area. As part of our Pesticides Use Notification Plan, we’ll use selective herbicides to control and remove weeds.

Works are planned from Monday 10 August to Friday 2 October 2026, weather permitting.

Some works may take place at night or in the early morning to reduce disruption to the community. Signs will be placed at affected locations at least 48 hours before works begin.
