Commonwealth Bank Mortdale Branch Closure

Commonwealth Bank has advised Georges River Council that its Mortdale Branch will permanently close following a review of its branch network.

The branch's services will transition to the Commonwealth Bank Hurstville Branch, located at 185 Forest Road, Hurstville.

The branch ATM/s will remain available until Friday 16 October 2026.
 

Banking Services Available After the Closure

Customers can continue to access banking services through several alternative channels.

  • Bank@Post Services

    Customers can conduct many personal and business banking transactions at:

    Mortdale Licensed Post Office
    23 Morts Road, Mortdale.

    Services available through Bank@Post include:

    • Cash withdrawals.

    • Deposits.

    • Balance enquiries (including passbooks).

    These services are available during Australia Post business hours.

  • Nearby Commonwealth Bank Branches

    Customers can also visit other Commonwealth Bank branches in the area, including:
