Learn how crowdfunding can help bring your creative project to life!

Crowdfunding can be a powerful way to turn an idea into reality. This beginner-friendly workshop introduces the fundamentals of crowdfunding for artists, writers, musicians, designers, makers, filmmakers, and other creatives. You'll learn how crowdfunding works, explore the different types of crowdfunding platforms, and discover what makes a successful campaign.

Explore the importance of planning, budgeting, and building an audience before launching a campaign, and learn how to:

  • Define your project.

  • Identify your audience.

  • Set realistic funding goals.

  • Develop rewards for supporters.

  • Tell a compelling story that encourages people to get behind your idea.

Through practical activities and real-world examples, you'll leave with a clearer understanding of whether crowdfunding is the right option for your creative project, along with the first steps to begin planning a campaign.
