Join us for the August Pride Book Club at the library!
Join us on the last Thursday of each month at Clive James Library, Kogarah for the Pride Book Club, where we read and discuss books that explore LGBTQIA+ experiences, voices, and themes.
This club is a space for celebrating queer stories in all their variety, from fiction to memoir, graphic novels to poetry. It’s also a space to connect with others in an open, respectful, and inclusive environment.
Whether you’re a lifelong reader or just starting out, everyone is welcome. Each month we’ll highlight a different theme or focus, encouraging conversations around identity, representation, and the power of storytelling.
Come along to share your thoughts, discover new favourites, and celebrate the diverse world of queer literature.
July’s Theme: Queer Fantasy
Step into worlds of magic, myth, and imagination. From enchanted kingdoms to futuristic realms, this month’s reads explore queer identity through fantasy settings where anything is possible.
