Do you love making art? We have the perfect club for you! Atlas is a community for curious kids; join Georges River Libraries as we bring Atlas Clubs to you!

Are you ready for an inspiring art adventure? Unleash your creativity as we explore new techniques, learn about the stories behind the art in the Library’s collections, and have fun making art together.

Thursday 10 September | Texture
Our final Art Club of the term will be all about texture. We will zoom into the Library’s collection to see how simple lines and marks can be used to create furry, feathered or scaley animal textures. We will add the final layer to our animal mixed media artwork using coloured pencil.

• All materials and equipment will be provided.

• ​For participants aged 12 years and under, parents and/or guardians of children must remain in the library for the duration of the program. For safety reasons, one parent/guardian can only be responsible for a maximum of 4 children (1:4 ratio).

• For participants under the age of 16, parent and/or guardian contact details must be provided at the time of booking.

• If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.

• If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces and repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations, bookings may be refused in the future.

• The library does not endorse or promote any products which may be used in the workshop.
