Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival in the heart of Hurstville with two full days of food, culture, entertainment and family fun.
The 2026 Georges River Mid-Autumn Festival will transform Hurstville Plaza into a vibrant festival space featuring live performances, cultural experiences, traditional games and festive food. From lion dancing, traditional drums and Chinese dance to KPOP and pop performances, the stage program will run from day into the evening.
Visitors can also take part in a range of hands-on cultural activities, including tea tasting, calligraphy, lacquer fan art and traditional games such as gong striking, chuiwan and ring toss. There will also be a Hanfu parade, mooncake tasting and plenty of opportunities to explore, take photos and enjoy the festival atmosphere with family and friends.
Whether Mid-Autumn Festival is part of your family tradition or you are discovering it for the first time, everyone is welcome to join the celebration.
