A temporary structure includes any structure that is not permanent. Such as Tents, Marquees, Stalls, Hoardings, Scaffolding and Ground Anchoring Systems.
 
Approval must be obtained where temporary structures are proposed to be installed. Please view our Temporary Structures Application Checklist or contact us for more information.

Please note that all applications for Hoardings and Ground Anchoring Systems must be lodged via the NSW Planning Portal. This needs to be done as a Section 68 Local Government Act application.
 

You will need

• A MyService NSW Account or your Planning Portal login details.

• Specific documents requested by Council such as building plans, specifications. Refer to Temporary Structures Application Checklist.

• Your payment – you will be required to pay a NSW Planning Portal Service Fee of $40.00.

• We will then review your application’s lodgement in the NSW Planning Portal. Council will generate an invoice for fees to be paid under our Fees and Charges.

• Once payment is received by Council, the application will be accepted and the applicant notified through the NSW Planning Portal.
