NSW Government Projects


The NSW Government and the Greater Cities Commission (previously Greater Sydney Commission) has outlined its commitment to our area under the Metropolis of Three Cities – the Greater Sydney Region Plan. 

There has also been commitment by the NSW Government to invest in the following projects to unlock the area’s economic potential:

  • Upgrade to the St George Hospital Cancer Care Centre
  • WestConnex Stage 1 F6 connecting Kogarah to Arncliffe and the M5 Motorway
  • Upgrade to St George TAFE to health care training facilities to ensure local hospitals and health related services have access to qualified staff
  • Redevelopment of Penshurst Public School and Penshurst West Public School
  • The redevelopment of Hurstville Police Station
  • Improvements to rail services on the T4 line.
