Council has engaged a contractor to complete the construction and landscaping works for Oleander Reserve playground upgrade.
 
This project will focus on improving passive and recreational facilities within the local area by renewing the playground and associated landscaping within Oleander Reserve. The project will also focus on improving the community’s use of the reserve through enhanced accessibility and upgraded features of the play space.
 
During the works, contractors will meet all environmental requirements of Council and government agencies and abide by the NSW EPA regulations within the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997 to limit noise and impact to residents.

Work is expected to commence from late May and will be undertaken Monday to Friday between 7.00am to 6.00pm and on Saturdays between 8.00am and 1.00pm. The works are expected to be completed by approximately mid to late August 2023. During this time, the playground and surrounds will be closed to the public; Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
