Permanent residents of New South Wales can join the library for free. Parent or guardian permission is required if you are younger than 16 years of age. Membership is subject to the Library Use and Membership Policy.

Fees apply for items that are overdue, damaged or lost and for some optional library services. Please read Georges River Council Fees and Charges.

After you have filled in the application form please take note of your temporary Borrower ID (beginning with “WEB”). This WEB number will give you immediate access to some of our best online resources. To access the full-range of our library’s resources, you will need to visit one of our library branches to finalise your membership. If you are unable to visit one of our library branches, please send an email to library@georgesriver.nsw.gov.au.
