A summer-themed event series for a buzzing Georges River will see businesses, cultural organisations, community groups and the entertainment industry breathing life back into the streets.
A suite of family friendly outings are lined up for locals to celebrate the reopening of our city and Georges River’s unique outdoor lifestyle with food, crafts, markets and circus tricks on offer, thanks to a partnership between Georges River Council and the NSW government.
Council’s new Summer Streets program will inject more than half a million dollars back into the local economy and create jobs as we open our streets for alfresco drinking, dining and live performances. The program is proudly funded by the NSW Government's The Festival of Place.
Important Note: Due to COVID-19, the Summer Streets Pop up Park was postponed and will be rescheduled at a future date.
