Our Energy Future Program

Georges River Council is offering a free energy support service through the Our Energy Future program to assist residents reduce their home energy bills and reduce their environmental footprint.

If you are a resident, business owner or council staff member in Georges River Council Local Government Area we encourage you to make use of the free energy helpline to receive practical and useful energy efficiency advice. The independent energy experts can answer your questions about power bills and provide tips on how to save money by reducing electricity use. The helpline is available during business hours on 1300 339 915 and you can sign up to the monthly e-news or follow the facebook page for handy hints.

As part of the program, we are also supporting residents who are considering installing solar panels on their home. The experts at Our Energy Future have conducted a rigorous procurement process to be able to recommend a range of trusted and cost-effective solar panel installers. You can sign up online to receive an obligation-free quote, or call 1300 339 915 to discuss whether or not solar might be right for you. If you decide to pursue solar power, the experts will support you by applying for rebates and arranging installation.
