Planning Proposal Request

Amend the Georges River LEP 2021:

  • To correct identified anomalies and inconsistencies to existing provisions and maps, updating property descriptions and adding a new provision from the Standard Instrument LEP.

The objective is to improve the operation and accuracy of the Georges River LEP.
 

Status

Was considered by the Local Planning Panel on 18 May 2023 who recommended to Council that the Planning Proposal, subject to amendments, be forwarded to the NSW Department of Planning and Environment (DPE) for a Gateway Determination.

Will be considered by Council’s Environment and Planning Committee on 13 June 2023.
