  • Draft Voluntary Planning Agreement for 6 Cross Street, Hurstville

    A draft Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) has been prepared for 6 Cross Street, Hurstville. 

    The draft VPA relates to the carrying out of the Development of the Land and requires the Developer to make a monetary contribution to Council of $976,147 towards public infrastructure in the Hurstville City Centre including the embellishment of the Central Plaza and upgrade of the local road network.
     
  • Nominations open for community representatives to Georges River Council's Local Planning Panel

  • Draft Amendment No. 2 to Generic Plan of Management – General Community Use Areas

    Georges River Council exhibitrf an amendment to the Generic Plan of Management General Community Use Areas. The Plan of Management covers all Community Land categorised within the former Hurstville local government area as a General Community Use Area.  There are twenty two (22) parcels of land included in this General Community Use Areas plan.
  • Planning Proposal – Lime Kiln Road, Lugarno

    Council exhibited a Planning Proposal affecting part of Taylors Reserve, being Lot 2 DP 1200178 (No.18B) Lime Kiln Road, Lugarno which changes the land classification from Community land to Operational land under the Local Government Act 1993.
  • Exhibition of Mayor and Councillors Expenses and Facilities Policy

    Council sought community feedback on its Mayor and Councillors Expenses and Facilities Policy which has been developed to ensure accountability and transparency in the reimbursement of reasonable expenses incurred or to be incurred by Councillors.  The policy also ensures that reasonable facilities are provided to assist Councillors to carry out their civic duties.

  • Draft Community Strategic Plan, Delivery Plan, Operational Plan and Resourcing Strategy

    The draft CSP and other documents were on exhibition up to 31 May 2018, during which time the community had further opportunity to give input into the future of our area. Council will consider this feedback in June before adopting these plans and programs.

  • Draft Hurstville City Centre Urban Design Strategy

    Council sought community feedback on the draft Hurstville City Centre Urban Design Strategy to review and update the existing urban design principles for the Hurstville City Centre, review the existing development standards (including maximum building height and maximum FSR) and prepare block by block urban design controls. Submissions closed on 10 November 2017.
