Georges River Council is calling on local residents and community groups to participate in its Venues and Facilities Service Review Survey. This initiative aims to evaluate the effectiveness, accessibility, and sustainability of Council-managed venues, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the community.
The survey gathers insights into how residents, groups, and businesses use local venues and facilities, and any barriers to participation. It also captures feedback on booking experiences, accessibility, facility conditions, and suggestions for improvements or additional services. This feedback will guide future upgrades and the development of new facilities to better serve the growing community.
Georges River Council Mayor Elise Borg said, "Our community venues and facilities are at the heart of local life. This survey is a valuable opportunity for residents to shape how these spaces evolve to better meet their needs, now and into the future.
“We want to hear from all corners of our community to ensure our venues and facilities continue to serve people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities."
