Free screening of The Founder at Event Cinemas Hurstville

As part of Georges River Council’s ‘Back to Business Week’ celebrations, Council will host a free screening of the 2016 film The Founder on Wednesday 1 March, which  tells the story of Ray Kroc, a travelling salesman who founded McDonald’s in the 1950’s.

The film is an inspirational tale of drive, determination and deal making that will provide much for food for thought for anyone in business.
The screening is part of Council’s exciting ‘Back to Business Week’ program, which will include workshops about starting a business, growing a business and employing strong marketing strategies, as well as a session on tax essentials with the Australian Tax Office.

Local business people will also be inspired at the Breakfast with an Entrepreneur event, which will feature successful entrepreneur, Strateggio and Star Car Wash founder Martin Dowling as guest speaker.
There will also be Pub Biz, a networking night that will give local business owners the opportunity to connect and collaborate in a relaxed atmosphere.
