Council to undertake community consultation on new Georges River Council logo

Residents are invited to have their say on three new proposed logos for Georges River Council from 4 February – 18 February 2017.

Administrator of Georges River Council, John Rayner, said this is a great opportunity for the whole community to be part of creating a new identity for Council that reflects the diversity of the local area.

“Establishing your new Council is more than just merging and improving services, it is also about creating a positive culture within the organisation, building trust with the community and a focus on our identity,” he said.
“Over the past few months, Council has created three possible logo designs using some key features from the Georges River area. These include its natural beauty, great sporting legacy and broad cultural diversity. Now it’s time for our community to have their say.

“Establishing a new logo is an important part of connecting our community and organisation and setting a clear direction for long-term.

“I encourage all members of the community to come along to these community information kiosk events and participate in a simple two-minute survey so you can let us know your preferred option.”

“For those who cannot attend the community information kiosk events you can still provide your feedback to Council via our website.”
