Profile and information
Councillor Elise Borg is serving her first term as Deputy Mayor and second term as a Councillor and brings with her a passion for standing up to represent the community, which she has done in her voluntary role as the Hon. Secretary of the Kogarah Bay Progress Association.
Cr Borg is a member of the Environment and Planning Committee Finance and Governance Committee and is a Southern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (SSROC) Representative.
With a background in account management in the corporate world, Cr Borg has a desire to see sound financial decision-making in Council.
Cr Borg believes we should preserve open spaces for future generations and make decisions that balance progress with protecting the way of life enjoyed by the residents of the local government area.
