What we value

We are a strong workforce that fosters a safe and professional workplace where we respect difference, draw upon our strengths and collaborate in unity to create a diverse Georges River Council culture. We encourage applications from a broad range of suitably skilled people to help meet our various responsibilities to the community. In return we offer our staff the flexibility to achieve a work-life balance.
We are an employer who promotes wellness, and provides opportunities and growth through a range of enrichment programs.

In March this year we presented the inaugural 'Rivers Run Conference', designed to provide networking and learning opportunities for all our staff. Collectively, staff were engaged to help formulate and embed Council’s shared goals, vision and values, which underpin our future operations and continued success.
