The McClymonts to headline Australia Day Festival 2018 at Carss Bush Park

Georges River Council is pleased to announce the headline act for its Australia Day Festival 2018 will be award-winning country music trio The McClymonts.
Hailing from Grafton, the trio are ten-time Golden Guitar-winning sisters and have released five studio albums and won two ARIA awards.
Georges River Council Mayor Kevin Greene said, “The Australia Day Festival has been running now for over 25 years, and has established itself as one of Sydney’s premier Australia Day events.

“We’re thrilled to have The McClymonts performing, as they’re incredibly popular and such a great fit for the day’s celebrations.”
“And Carss Bush Park is a magnificent location for families and friends to gather and celebrate our diverse community and nation.”
“There will be a Citizenship Ceremony held in the morning, which is a great way to welcome our most recent citizens to our local community.”
“People can expect to enjoy a great line-up of entertainment which will, as ever, finish with a bang with a spectacular display of fireworks over Kogarah Bay,” Mayor Greene added.

“We expect to see tens of thousands of people in attendance over the course of the day.”
The program will be showcasing excellent live music, diverse cultural performances, amusing entertainers and market stalls selling clothing, novelties, crafts and food from around the world.
