The ‘angel of André Rieu’ to touch down in Hurstville

Celebrated as the ‘angel of André Rieu’, Australian-Dutch soprano Mirusia, is set to enchant the Marana Auditorium on Wednesday 20 June for the next instalment of Council’s popular concert series, Music at Twilight. 

After graduating from the Queensland Conservatorium in Australia, Mirusia received the prestigious Dame Joan Sutherland Opera Award and toured the world for 10 years as a featured soloist with André Rieu’s Johann Strauss Orchestra.

With her solo career now in full-swing, Mirusia has touched the hearts of audiences across Australia and internationally, with her performances declared as “heart-warming, personal and leaving you no choice but to love Mirusia.” 

Mirusia’s enchanting voice is a precious gift – powerful, confident and controlled, with these qualities giving her the freedom to express her personality and tell a story whilst she sings.
