Sydney Sixers return to Hurstville Oval to bowl Georges River fans over with three thrilling matches

Australia’s favourite summer sporting team, the Women’s Big Bash League’s (WBBL) Sydney Sixers, are coming to Hurstville and offering up Sydney's best value family entertainment.

See some of the best cricketers in the country when the Sydney Sixers play host to both the Melbourne Stars and the Adelaide Strikers.

Georges River Council Mayor Kevin Greene is thrilled that the Sydney Sixers are heading back to Hurstville Oval following the huge success of previous Women’s Big Bash League games.

“Once again, our friends at the Sydney Sixers will be showing the Melbourne Stars and the Adelaide Strikers how it’s done at our very own premier cricket ground.”

“We’re urging families and cricket fans to come along to any of the three upcoming WBBL games for a terrific day’s entertainment!”

“You’ll also have the opportunity to witness some of the world’s finest cricketers including Ellyse Perry, Alyssa Healy, Ash Gardner and Erin Burns, and any fans can meet their favourite players after the game”.

“Big Bash is more than just a game of cricket, it's a great afternoon out with family, friends and fellow fans,” added Mayor Greene.

The experience starts from the moment you arrive with a range of activities to keep the kids, big and small, entertained. Family friendly physical challenges, music, a slide and a range of photo opportunities get supporters in the spirit before the toss. Post-game, hang around to meet the players, grab an autograph and pose for a selfie.
