Meet the Bananas in Pyjamas at the Australia Day Festival!


The much-loved B1 and B2 from the Bananas in Pyjamas children’s TV series will be dropping in to Georges River Council’s Australia Day Festival for a meet and greet with fans on Sunday 26 January 2020. 
Originating in the late 1970s, the dynamic duo spans several generations and has long been a household name, with the TV series established in 1992.  
The Bananas in Pyjamas will be performing at Carss Bush Park at 4.45pm, and fans will have the chance to meet and take photos with the pair at 5.30pm. Don’t miss this opportunity to get to know the world-famous bananas in your own backyard!  
Australia Day Festival 2020 
The event will officially commence with a Welcome to Country at 2.00pm, followed by a Citizenship Ceremony and the announcement of Council’s Australia Day Award winners. Entertainment will start from 4.00pm with a mix of live music, cultural performances, children’s activities and market stallholders.

Time: Stalls and inflatables activated from 12.00pm, Citizenship Ceremony from 2.00pm, entertainment from 4.00pm, fireworks at 9.00pm
