Kids can exercise their imaginations at Grosvenor Road Reserve

Georges River Council has installed a brand new interactive playground at Grosvenor Road Reserve in South Hurstville.

Mayor Kevin Greene said the playground provides opportunities for children to discover nature, and somewhere to exercise their imaginations.

“This new children’s playground invites all community members to participate in a variety of play experiences, in ways that challenge, excite and promote an active and healthy lifestyle,” said Mayor Greene.

“We sought feedback directly from our community on the elements they would like to see included and the resulting equipment can be enjoyed by children of all ages.

“When we design new playgrounds, we want to ensure they meet the needs of the community, and the park here at Grosvenor Road Reserve ticks all the boxes. It’s colourful and engaging, and will keep your kids very busy,” added Mayor Greene.

The new Grosvenor Road Reserve playground was installed at a cost of $69,900, drawn from Council funds.
