Phil Jamieson, Ash Grunwald, Steve Clisby, Damien Leith and more will entertain music lovers at the Hurstville Entertainment Centre in November, as part of Great Southern Nights, a music event bringing 1,000 COVID-safe performances to live music venues in Greater Sydney and regional NSW.

This event, which will showcase Australian music to celebrate Australian Music Month in November, is a NSW Government initiative to stimulate the revival of the live music and entertainment sectors and the visitor economy in the recovery phase of COVID-19.

Hurstville Entertainment Centre features a stellar line up of artists as part of Great Southern Nights, including:

·         Damien Leith with Dave Wells, Thursday 5 November

·         Ash Grunwald, Friday 6 November

·         Phil Jamieson with special guest Sophie Ozard, Thursday 12 November

·         Steve Clisby with special guest Lauren Dawes, Friday 20 November

·         Budjerah, Saturday 28 November

1,000 gigs will showcase established, emerging and local Australian artists, across a multitude of venues in NSW. Great Southern Nights will culminate in Australia’s premier music industry event, the ARIA Awards.

The initiative is delivered by the NSW Government’s tourism and major events agency Destination NSW, in partnership with the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA). All music events will be programmed in line with current NSW Government health advice regarding physical distancing and venue capacity of public gatherings.
