Grab a bite at food trucks in Hurstville this Friday

If you’re heading off on a road trip on Friday night, or want to treat yourself to a tasty dinner, Georges River Council is bringing two drive-through food trucks to Hurstville, giving you the chance to support local business while staying COVID-19 safe.
Stop in at the Hurstville Aquatic and Leisure Centre between 5.00pm and 9.00pm, where food trucks will be serving up a tasty selection of international cuisine. If the chill of winter’s got you hankering for some comfort food, Bayt Za’atar will satisfy, offering a mouth-watering selection of authentic Lebanese pizza.
The hardest part will be choosing, with options ranging from the Za’atar - pizza sprinkled with oregano mixed with sumac, sesame seeds and olive oil, to mixed beef blended with spices, onions and tomatoes, and cheese with sujuk - deliciously spiced Turkish sausages!
Vege4love will tantalise your tastebuds with a smorgasbord of fresh, vegetarian South-East Asian food bursting with flavour. Slurp down some noodles while enjoying a char koay teow or mee goreng, or munch on a dish of fragrant nasi lemak.
Measures have been enforced to ensure a COVID-19 safe environment for customers. You will not need to exit your vehicle and will be served through your car window, with food only available for takeaway.
