Free community information session - solar for home owners


To assist residents to potentially reduce their energy bills and improve their environmental footprint, Council is hosting a free solar power information session at the Jubilee Community Centre on Saturday 23 September for residents and business owners in the Georges River area.

Council has teamed up with independent energy experts at Our Energy Future to deliver practical advice that will support residents who are considering rooftop solar.

Our Energy Future has conducted a rigorous procurement process to be able to recommend a range of trusted and cost-effective solar panel installers.

The information session will help attendees:

  • Understand how solar works and how much it costs
  • Work out if solar and battery storage is the right option for your household
  • Hear about a range of trusted solar suppliers that can provide a no-obligation quote
  • Understand the financial rebates available
  • Learn practical and useful ways to save on energy bills
