Council pop-up stalls in Westfield Hurstville this December

11/12/2017

As part of Georges River Council’s ongoing commitment to community engagement, a Council pop-up stall is set to appear in Westfield Hurstville on Wednesday 13 and Wednesday 20 December.

The aim of the stalls, which will be set up from 10.00am – 2.00pm, will be to provide another point of contact for residents to reach Council and to learn more about current initiatives and upcoming events.

Council is keen to proactively seek out community values, issues, concerns and aspirations, and establish an ongoing partnership with the local community to ensure their priorities and values continue to shape its services.

All members of the community and visitors to Hurstville Westfield are encouraged to stop by the pop-up stall, which will be located on the first floor near Woolworths.

Georges River Council would like to express its gratitude to Westfield Hurstville for providing this excellent opportunity for Council to hear from local residents.

Along with these pop-up stalls, Council is actively encouraging members of the community aged 18 and over to join the online Have Your Say Panel.

The Panel provides local people the opportunity to comment on issues affecting their local community.

People who sign up to the Have Your Say Panel can expect to receive regular updates about Council projects and programs that seek community feedback.

Joining the Have Your Say Panel is free. Interested people can register online via Council’s website and click on the ‘Have Your Say’ icon.
