Council inviting expressions of interest for Library Focus Group

Georges River Council will soon be undertaking an extensive review of all of its libraries’ Service Delivery Model and local residents are being called on to help.

Members of the group will be consulted to assist with an extensive review of Georges River Libraries’ Service Delivery Model and other service models to determine which model will deliver a sustainable contemporary library service to the Georges River community.

The Library Focus Group will also be consulted to ensure the new Service Delivery Model for Council’s libraries is broadly informed and inclusive of issues facing the community, and is one that best meets the goals set out in the Library Strategic Plan.

Council encourages all residents of the local government area aged 15 and over to submit their expression of interest for joining the Library Focus Group by Friday 24 November 2017 online here.

To be eligible for the group you must be a member of Georges River Libraries.

Successful applicants will join the group, which will also comprise of Council staff and other stakeholders.
