Classic carols and festive pop for Magic of Christmas at Carss Bush Park

The joyful jingle of Christmas bells has begun to sound in preparation for Georges River Council’s Magic of Christmas at Carss Bush Park, which will take place on Sunday 1 December.

Kicking off the festive season, this family-friendly event has become a much-loved tradition for many families in the local area, with wonderful activities to keep people of all ages entertained.

Georges River Council Mayor Kevin Greene said this year’s line-up will be spectacular, particularly for families with young children.

“We’re thrilled to have Colin Buchanan returning again this year with his Aussie summer-themed festive tunes, which everyone absolutely loved last year,” said Mayor Greene.

“Santa will again be on hand to pose for free photos, and littlies will be beside themselves with excitement for a chance to see, or even meet, characters from Paw Patrol and Sesame Street!

“There will be performances from The Steeples and Gospel Group, along with a massive line-up of bands and local performance groups.

“Show bags and toys will be available at some of the kids stalls, and there’ll be plenty of food and drink options on-site.

“I encourage everyone to pack their picnic rugs and camping chairs and come along and join in the joy of singing carols and celebrating our wonderful community together,” added Mayor Greene.

The Magic of Christmas will finish with a spectacular fireworks display over Kogarah
