Calling young musicians: Inaugural ‘Live and Acoustic’ sessions for Youth Week

24/03/2017

If you have a song you would like to share, we want to hear it!

As part of Youth Week 2017, Georges River Council is putting out the call for young singers, songwriters and acoustic session lovers to share their talents at the inaugural ‘Live and Acoustic’ music sessions.

‘Live and Acoustic’ throws the floor open for local singers and songwriters to show off their musical talent to the community, either with their own original compositions or favourite cover songs.

Special guest artists Kalun Townsend and Don Leaton will be there to share some of their originals and favourites with the crowd.

Join in the Youth Week celebrations by bringing friends and family from the local area help support local musicians.

As the venue has limited capacity, RSVP soon to ensure admission on the night.

Youth Week, to be celebrated in late March and early April, is a great opportunity for young people to express their ideas on issues that affect their lives, and take part in a wide range of creative activities and events.
