$200,000 in Community Grants available!

In the next round of Georges River Council’s Community Grants, which opens on Monday 18 February, community organisations can apply for a share of $200,000 in funding.

The grants are designed to enable community organisations to partner with Council to help meet identified community needs.

The purpose of the grants is to support community organisations to offer alternative approaches to meeting these needs, and to develop programs and activities that encourage community participation and inclusion.

There is a total of $200,000 available in this round, which opens on Monday 18 February 2019 and closes at 5.00pm on Monday 18 March 2019.

Council invites applications for program in the following two categories:
  • Connected Communities – Major Programs
  • Capacity Building Grants – Community Development
Grant applicants are encouraged to attend one of the Grant Information Sessions below to find out more about the program, community priorities, categories and the grant application process.
