Harmony Day

Harmony Day is a Federal Government initiative, celebrated each year on 21 March. It is an opportunity for all Australians to celebrate living in a culturally diverse society, to say no to racism and to promote understanding and acceptance of everyone's cultures.

The event coincides with the United Nation's International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

Harmony Day is an ideal opportunity for the Georges River community to come together to celebrate and recognise its rich cultural diversity.

For more information on Harmony Day or other community programs and events, please contact Council on 9330 6400 or email at communitydevelopment@georgesriver.nsw.gov.au
