Driver Distraction

Anything that takes your mind or eyes off the road can compromises your safety and everyone else on the road. This includes taking your hands off the wheel at any point while driving, this not only dangerous for you but everyone around on the road as well.

When distracted on the roads it increases your chance of having a crash and it slows down your reaction time.

One of the biggest distractions found when travelling along the road is mobile phones. It is illegal to use your mobile phone while driving.

For more information on driver distraction please visit Transport for NSW website.
