St George Community Bystander Forum

This is a Council led event.

10/12/2025 - Rockdale Town Hall

A free event upskilling community in supporting loved ones experiencing Domestic and Family Violence.

The St George Domestic Violence Committee warmly invites you to attend our Community Bystander Forum, held as part of the global 16 Days of Actvisim Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.

Join us as we come together to make a difference. Learn how to recognise the signs, start safe and supportive conversations, and connect people to the help they need.

This community event is a safe and welcoming space for residents, local organisations, and anyone who wants to learn how to support someone experiencing domestic or family violence.

What to expect:

  • Panel Discussion featuring local experts from Marrickville Legal Centre, NSW Police, Women's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service, Moving Forward, and Mudgin-Gal Aboriginal Corporation.

  • Networking and Refreshments - connect with others who are committed to building a safer, more respectful community.
