Stallholders at Council Events

Council holds a series of major events that can include art and craft or food stallholders:

Council will call for stallholder applications for these events for suitable stalls selling food and goods relevant to the event using the above webpages.

Please note that Sponsorship and Stallholder interest are treated separately.

Stallholder applications will only be accepted from food and beverage market stalls and/or art and craft stalls when specified. Please be advised that stallholder opportunities are competitive and Council must accept stalls on a first in, first served basis as long as the stall is compliant of all requirements.

Organisations applying for stalls which do not relate to the theme of the event will be redirected to seek a sponsorship opportunity.

Food Stallholders

In addition to the events run by Council, temporary food stallholders have a number of other opportunities to trade at some of Council's larger community-run events whom you can contact directly. Please note that all food stallholders who trade within the borders of Georges River Local Government Area need to apply for a Temporary Food Premises Permit. Once you have a permit, with your permission, your temporary food premises and contact details will be published on Council's Food Business page so Event Organisers can contact you.

Popular community-run events that often require Temporary Food Premises include;

Lugarno Lions Spring Festival
Oatley Village Festival
Love Local Artisan Market
Peakhurst Foodies and Farmers Markets

If you are a community event organiser and would like to ensure that your temporary food premises' are current and registered, please refer to our most up to date list on Council's Food Health page.
