Councillors' Charity Ball

Georges River Council Councillors' Charity Ball is a fund-raising event designed to support community charities and projects throughout the local government area.

2019's Councillors' Charity Ball donated an astonishing $35,000 for The Salvations Army and their work with homelessness. This project aims to renovate the existing Salvation Army building's shower and laundry facilities that could be utilised by the Hurstville community who find themselves homeless. These facilities will be provided in conjunction with the current services; which includes case work, community meals, spiritual pathways and social gatherings for the homeless community in and around the Hurstville Area.

Georges River Council would like to give a huge thank you to our sponsors for the 2019 Councillor's Charity Ball:  Coombes Property Group (Principal Sponsor), Ganellen (Major Sponsor) and Bluefit (Event Supporter).
