Discovery Festival

The Georges River Council Discovery Festival provides an annual showcase of local creative and community cultural development initiatives that have emerged throughout the year. Many projects have received support through Council’s Community Grants programs. This vibrant festival engages audiences, activates public spaces and provides a platform to celebrate our creative and diverse community.

Project events this year include theatre, film, music, literature, dance, visual arts, mixed media, multicultural arts and cross-cultural partnerships. These highlight and celebrate the creativity, challenges and aspirations of our local communities, using arts and culture as tools for expression, reflection and inclusion.
