Enrolment and Waiting Lists

Enrolments at our services are in high demand and as such we have a waiting list for available positions. Once your child has been offered a position and the position has been accepted, the enrolment process commences. During enrolment, procedural and policy information is given to families. The orientation process takes place towards the end of each year and families are welcome to visit the centre, look around and ask questions they may have.

Waiting list application forms must be completed online and your administration payment will be processed once the forms are submitted. The administration fee is non-refundable. Please note: Administration fees vary depending upon the centre your are applying for.

Waiting List Application Forms

Once your application form is received, your child’s name will be added to the current waiting list for the children’s service that you have selected. The waiting list is populated based on your application date and reviewed annually to ensure that the families on the waiting list are still seeking a child care position.

When a position becomes available for your child, you will be contacted and offered a place. If you do not accept the position, you will be given the option to have your application removed from the waiting list or to be re-entered at the current date. If you choose to accept the position for your child, an orientation and interview will be organised at the childcare centre for you and your family to meet the staff, other families and children.

Who can use our services?

Children who attend Georges River Council’s children’s services must have been on our waiting list prior to enrolment. There are no other restrictions on who can attend Council’s children’s services.
