Water Monitoring Volunteers
Our volunteer-based water quality monitoring group, the Georges River Watchers, undertake water quality testing on a monthly basis and collect samples from various sites across the local area. By working together, we can protect the natural environment and raise awareness of pollution issues in the community.
No previous experience or qualifications are required and we encourage anyone with an interest in protecting the environment to get involved.
If you would like to find out more, contact Council.
Learn more about how we monitor the sites.
Bushcare Volunteer Groups
Volunteer with us and help improve our local bushland. Our volunteers assist by planting native species and removing weeds and rubbish from the bush.
