Community Strategic Plan

Council is now preparing its first Community Strategic Plan which will identify the priorities, aspirations and vision of the community.

We have developed a short survey for the community to share their thoughts on medium and long term priorities. The draft Community Strategic Plan will be ready for the new Council to consider following the elections in September 2017.

You can also obtain a copy of the survey from Council’s Service Centres, libraries, Museum & Gallery and Community Centres.

Household Clean Up Survey

We currently operate two different types of household clean up services where residents can place their unwanted household items on the kerbside for collection. Both household clean up collection services are offered to residents two times per year.

We are currently reviewing the following services: 

Pre-booked Service: the former Hurstville City Council residents currently have a pre-booked service where residents can call the waste hotline and book in their clean up on the next available date.

Scheduled Service: the former Kogarah City Council residents currently have a scheduled service where by residents receive an information leaflet in their letter box with their next scheduled date of their clean up and when they can place their items out for collection.
