This exhibition gives a fascinating insight into the making of the acclaimed picture book and multi-award-winning animation The Lost Thing, created by Melbourne author and illustrator Shaun Tan.

Guest speaker: Brett Bower, international award-winning animator.

The story of The Lost Thing is about a boy who befriends a strange creature which seems to be lost. The tale follows the boy's journey as he tried to find out where this lost thing belongs.

The exhibition features a range of original drawings, paintings and other developmental work for both the picture book and the animated film.

Exhibition dates: 22 April - 16 July 2017
