Micro Grants Program

Applications Now Open

Council's new Micro Grants Program offers up to $1,000 for individuals and social enterprises with great ideas to improve community wellbeing and achieve social change.

Are you:

  • A resident of the Georges River area?
  • An individual, small group or unincorporated organisation?
  • Starting a social enterprise?

Do you:
  • Have a great idea?
  • Want to make change to help your local community?
  • Plan to get together with others to try something new?

Council wants to support people who come up with innovative ways to meet needs in the community, and may not be eligible for other grant programs. We understand that a small amount of money can help you get your idea up and running.

Grants of up to $1,000 per application will be awarded, with a total of $9,000 available in this round. Applications close Monday 9 March 2020.

Please see the Micro Grants Guidelines for further details, including selection criteria and eligibility.
