The Georges River Council Discovery Festival of Community Arts showcases local community cultural development initiatives developed during the year leading up to the October-November festival period.

This year, local community artists and cultural organisations, presented the following events in partnership with Georges River Council:

  3. Macedonian Cinema Days – 3-day Film Festival
  4. The Film Seen, 2016 Discovery Screening Event

  6. Discovery Art & Craft Market Day at St George Creative Art & Craft Centre
  7. St George Art Society 72nd Members’ Annual Exhibition and Awards
  8. 2016 Discovery Writers Literary Awards
  9. Grandma’s Getting Married – by Australian Macedonian Theatre of Sydney
