Discovery Festival of Community Arts

The Georges River Council Discovery Festival of Community Arts provides an annual showcase of local community cultural development initiatives that have emerged over the year leading up to the festival period. Some projects have received support through Council’s Community Grants programs.

Project events include theatre, film, music, literature, dance, visual arts, mixed media, multicultural arts and cross-cultural partnerships. These highlight and celebrate the creativity, challenges and aspirations of our local communities, using arts and culture as tools for expression, reflection and inclusion.

View the 2018 Discovery Festival Program here for event dates, locations and full details of this year's activities.

Please follow the links to book, or call the community contacts listed below.

Most events are free or very low cost to maximise participation.
