Discovery Festival of the Arts
The Georges River Council Discovery Festival of Community Arts provides an annual showcase for local community cultural development initiatives that have emerged over the year leading up to the October-November festival period.

Some projects and programs have received support through the Council’s Community Grants or Stronger Communities Grant programs.

This year we have eleven events highlighting and celebrating the creativity, challenges and aspirations of our local communities, using arts and culture as a means for expression, reflection and inclusion.

Most events are free or very accessible to maximize participation.
